Join us at The Hermit on Green Street for an oyster shucking workshop where you’ll learn to shuck like a pro while enjoying a complimentary glass of bubbles or white wine. Guided by local oyster farmer Connor, each guest will receive a dozen oysters and everything needed to shuck and enjoy.

About the event
Join us for an oyster shucking workshop at The Hermit on Green Street, a small, thoughtfully curated shop in Hingham filled with vintage pieces, books, art, and home goods - with a special love for local female artists and woman-owned brands.
Guests will work with oysters harvested locally in Plymouth, as Connor, raw bar owner and oyster farmer, guides the group step by step through how to shuck. He’ll bring oysters straight from his farm, along with all the gear needed, and share a bit about how they’re grown and what you’re tasting along the way.
